So lately I've been trying to transition my household as much as possible into a healthier more natural lifestyle. I started this after doing research on essential oils and their many amazing properties. After incorporating essential oils into my family's lifestyle I looked further into different ways to incorporate more natural products into my home. Here I'm going to let you guys know what some of my favorite products are and what to look for when looking for natural products. "If you ain't coughin it ain't workin" . I know I'm not the only person who thought this at one point in time when it comes down to my cleaning supplies, but I'm here to let you know you don't have to risk your lungs for a clean house. One of my absolute favorite multi-purpose cleaner is Seventh Generation All Purpose Cleaner . Seventh Generation is probably one of my favorite natural brands ever. Is it normal to resent my baby??

So you’ve done it. You’ve housed and nurtured a tiny little human inside of your body for 9-10 months. You’ve dreamed and prayed that this time would finally come, and now here it is. So why do you feel a disconnect  from your baby? Why don’t you feel how you imagined you would? You love your new baby so much but the sound of them crying at 3 am makes you want to jump on the next train out of town., but why???  In honor of mental health awareness month I want to touch on the topic of postpartum depression. Let’s look at the definition first off. Postpartum depression is defined as depression suffered by a mother following child birth, typically arising from the combination of hormonal changes, psychological adjustment to motherhood and fatigue. Most people when they think of PPD they think of the worst. It's not always that a mother with this disorder necessarily "hates" her baby. It could be as simple as having a breakdown because an article of clothing no longer fits.

New Baby? First time mom? This one's for you.

Are you a new mom, about to be a mom, or have a new baby? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then this one is for you. As many of you know I recently had another baby.  Mr. Jace Paul. He's been a complete angel, but before he came I struggled with wrapping my head around how I was going to be a mother to four children at a time. So I started researching what I like to call "my little shortcuts". I found a few items that are helping us out tremendously.   PopYum Anti-Colic Formula Making/Mixing/Dispenser Baby Bottles Okay Ya'll this has to be my most favorite baby item. When looking for shortcuts I needed something that would make traveling, and being on the go with multiple children a little easier. This is definitely it. These bottles are also a breeze at night. (I know I'm not the only parent who's waken up for a 3 am feeding practically knocking over a whole can of formula). With these bottles the formula is already in the bottle, bein

There's what in the toothpaste??

Do we actually know what's going in our bodies on a daily basis? Absolutely not! But it doesn't hurt to find out. You'll be surprised at how many brands that we normally use have harmful ingredients in them. Take fluoride for example, it is found is toothpaste, but did you know that fluoride is linked to some cases of kidney problems, bone disorders, and even acne. (now who wants that), I sure don't. Not for me or my family. Fluoride has also been a topic in brain development studies as well. In 2017, a report was published suggesting that exposure to fluoride before birth could lead to poorer cognitive outcomes in the future. The researchers measured fluoride levels in 299 women during pregnancy and in their children between ages 6 and 12 years old. Higher levels of fluoride were associated with lower scores on IQ test. Now what are the odds of that? Recently I made a healthy lifestyle switch to a fluoride-free toothpaste for my family. We use the brand Hello, and we a
